With 15 M€ available for Estonian companies, Enterprise Estonia is opening the 7th round of applied research support to test, develop, and bring world-changing, innovative technologies closer to market. The measure also supports the collaboration of companies with each other or with R&D facilities or universities, e.g., for open innovation or technology transfer projects. Therefore, very importantly, more emphasis is being put on the company's IP strategy regarding project results. The company needs to think through and propose a realistic strategy for what IP they put into the project, what the expected IP outcome is, and how the outcome is going to be captured, protected, and utilised.
