🌟 Exciting visit to FAKUMA 2024 in Friedrichshafen! 🌟 We had the pleasure of attending this year's Fakuma Messe, and it was an incredible experience filled with innovation and insightful discussions. Here are our top 4 key takeaways: 1. Sustainability and Recycled Products: The focus on sustainability was evident, with numerous exhibitors showcasing eco-friendly materials and processes. Highlights included biomass-based products and an advanced focus on recycling plastic waste and compounding it into new materials to reduce environmental impact and promote a circular economy. 2. PFAS ban and substitutes: The industry is making significant progress in developing alternatives to PFAS, addressing both regulatory pressures and environmental concerns. Suppliers are not afraid of this change, but are using it as an opportunity to showcase their important role in future product design. 3. Mobility applications and beyond: A wide range of offerings for mobility applications were on display, with a particular focus on high-voltage applications. Many companies are also exploring new growth markets in adjacent mobility industries such as commercial vehicles and e-bikes, as well as entirely new sectors such as medical. 4. Competitiveness through innovation: The emphasis on innovation as a key driver of competitiveness was clear. Companies are using new technologies and creative solutions to avoid becoming a commodity manufacturer, but rather to stay ahead of the market and ensure that they meet evolving customer demands and regulatory requirements. FAKUMA 2024 was a testament to the dynamic and forward-looking nature of the plastics industry. At FEV Consulting, we stand ready to support our clients in all of these areas, helping you to navigate and excel in this evolving landscape. #FAKUMA2024 #Plastics #Sustainability #Recycling #Innovation #Mobility

''exhibitor stands aren’t just booths—they’re statements of sustainability'' Insightful post focussing on two companies that are making it their mission to change the textile industry as well as expo landscape . Fresh from the UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry congress this is hard-hitting-speak. A language and way-of-work that we should all aspire to. ''sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s a practice, one that can redefine industries from the ground up'' Art of Fiber Re-Fresh Global Event Greening Forum EXSA 'Exhibition and Events Association of South Africa' AAXO - Association of African Exhibition Organisers SAACI National Office Xanita
What if exposition booths where we showcase our innovations, could also tell a story of circularity—crafted not just for one event, but designed to give back to the planet? 🌱 Last week, at the 91st Annual UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, Congress in Cologne, hosted by Koelnmesse GmbH represented, by our co-founder Revital Nadiv, we had the privilege of joining forces with Art of Fiber showcasing our vision for a sustainable future in the textile and events industries. Art of Fiber is revolutionizing the way we think about natural fibres and sustainability. Their commitment to crafting eco-conscious solutions, like sustainable exhibitor stands, exemplifies how the circular economy can reshape not just textiles, but the very spaces where industries come together to collaborate and grow. 💚 At the Congress, Art of Fiber, beautifully illustrated their innovative approach to sustainable exhibition solutions. These exhibitor stands aren’t just booths—they’re statements of sustainability, built with circular economy principles and designed to minimize environmental impact. 🎥 Don’t miss this video by them (Link in the comments 👇🏼), which highlights their innovative work in sustainable exhibition solutions. It’s a powerful reminder that sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s a practice, one that can redefine industries from the ground up. A big thank you to Art of Fiber, especially Dave S. and Mart Vissers for this exciting collaboration and to everyone who visited us at UFI Global Congress 2024. This is just the beginning of a journey to create a more circular future. #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #ArtOfFibre #UFI2024
