had an incredible experience at work - swapped out a peristaltic flow sensor on the second RF Cavity of the LBL ALS! 🛠️✨ It's amazing how these intricate components play such a vital role in accelerating particles at the cutting-edge of science. Feeling grateful for the opportunity to contribute to something so awe-inspiring! moving from science fiction to science facts!!! 🔬💫 #ScienceAdventures #LBLALS #ParticleAcceleration"

EMBL’s Prevedel Group scaled down a microscope to a miniature size while scaling up imaging resolution. 🔬 Mobile OCM is the first portable microscope to image label-free samples in 3D, in different magnifications, and within fractions of a second. It was constructed to help TREC – Traversing European Coastlines – researchers immediately view biological samples in 3D that they had just gathered – a game-changing level of technology for biological field work. At present, the mobile OCM awaits its next adventure. Who wants to take it on another fruitful scientific expedition? 👀 Read more: https://lnkd.in/dmEaGax8

Our recent paper about anticoncentration and magic in many-body dynamics is now on the Arxiv! Link to preprint: https://lnkd.in/dCEg3k6H Title: Anticoncentration and magic spreading under ergodic quantum dynamics In this work, we studied the anticoncentration and magic spreading in one-dimensional ergodic Floquet models and Hamiltonian systems. Using participation and stabilizer entropies to probe these resources, we reveal significant differences between the two settings. Floquet systems show saturation of anticoncentration and magic at time scales that increase logarithmically with system size. In contrast, Hamiltonian dynamics deviate from the random circuit predictions and require times scaling approximately linearly with system size to achieve saturation of participation and stabilizer entropies. Grateful for the fantastic collaboration with Xhek Turkeshi and Piotr Sierant #quantumphysics #quantuminformation #quantumcomputing
