🌍 🇬🇧 Excited to be heading to #London this week for an impactful event focused on resilience in Venture Capital! On September 18th, in collaboration with VentureESG and Masawa, Joshua Haynes and I are co-hosting the ***Emerging Manager Resilience Workshop***—an intimate, invite-only gathering designed to explore the unique challenges faced by emerging managers. From setting up and raising a fund to sourcing deals, managing LPs, supporting the portfolio, and promoting the ‘brand,’ this journey can test our resilience on many levels. 👊 Our goal? To create a space for vulnerability, self-reflection, and contemplation—where we can have honest conversations about the realities of being an emerging manager and share strategies for building resilient investment practices that align with our values. If you’re attending, I look forward to seeing you there and diving into these critical topics. Let’s leave the deals at the door and be open to what the afternoon might hold. The following day, VentureESG is hosting #FRAME, a community conference focused on ESG and responsible investing, bringing together VCs and LPs to discuss the future of venture capital. Looking forward to connecting with everyone! cc: Hannah Leach #EmergingManagers #VentureCapital #Resilience #Masawa #VentureESG #FRAME #ESG #ResponsibleInvesting
