I’m beyond excited and deeply flattered to be named one of the finalists for Inspirational Individual of the Year at the 2024 Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. Being recognised for my work and dedication in this way is an award in itself 🙌 What's more this recognition affirms my belief that versatility and adaptability are key to driving impactful results and this is also a signal to jump even higher! 🚀 The only way forward is through mindful growth—embracing opportunities to inspire more, build stronger, life long, connections, and craft even more memorable, one-of-a-kind experiences. And of course, it motivates me to keep wearing many different hats—literally and figuratively —with the same passion and insatiable drive for innovation in every role I play (or hat I choose👒 🎩😊)! Whether it’s creating unforgettable events, managing complex projects, or infusing creativity into every moment, I’m always ready for the next challenge. As I gear up for the awards night on the 17th of October, I’m filled with gratitude for all the incredible support along the way. Best of luck to all my fellow finalists—we’re all here because of the impact we make.I can’t wait to continue pushing boundaries and seeing where the next leap takes me. 🌟 Steven Bartlett #BusinessAwards2024 #InspirationalLeadership #Versatility #ProjectManagement #EventManagement #GrowthMindset #LeadershipInAction #Inspiration #MindfulGrowth #PushingBoundaries #Gratitude #CreativeLeadership #EventDesign

It is fair to say that the property industry has been one of the slower professions to fully embrace and embed the principles of EDI – Equity, Diversity and Inclusion – into its workforce and practices. This is something that Rob Russell worked on last year and that our new president Julian Harbottle wants to continue to focus on through 2024. Last year saw the BPAA sign up to the Bristol Property Inclusion Charter and in October the BPAA hosted a CPD presentation on EDI by Sam Phillips – founder and CEO of Representnation. Furthermore the Malcolm Gunter Foundation Award was awarded to Karl Brown to recognise his positive contribution to the Bristol property industry through the Bristol Property Inclusion Charter which Karl founded in 2019 and last year reached the milestone of 100 companies/organisations as signatories. Looking forwards to 2024, the BPAA plans to build on these events and strengthen our partnership with the Bristol Property Inclusion Charter to lead the way in embracing and embedding the principles of EDI to the Bristol property market. Read more about this important topic in our recent newsletter article.... #BPAA #BristolPlanning #Challenges #Priorities #Newsletter Rob Russell, Julian Harbottle, Hannah Waterhouse, Nick Allan, Finola Ingham FRICS, Guy Mansfield, Melanie Fernandes, Roxine Foster, Chris Howell, Alfie Passingham, James Frost, Charlie Kershaw, Rachel Lillie, Tom Dugay, Rebecca Harries, Russell Crofts
