Join our consultation project called #FORWARD in shedding light on what hinders the strength of European battery value chain, and how practically #innovation should be adopted in this constantly evolving EU policy scene of electrification and industrial sovereignty.

What can European regions do to foster cross-border collaboration in the energy transition? Turns out, quite a lot! ☀⚡🔌 In our new report for the *Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Alpenländer* (ARGE ALP), we examine the potential benefits and barriers for cross-border collaboration in the energy sector. ARGE ALP is a collaborative platform bringing together 10 regions from Austria, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. We derive recommendations for enhancing cross-border collaboration, and we propose concrete next steps for the Alpine regions over the coming months. Based on our report, on October 25th, the heads of government of the ARGE ALP adopted an action programme for the next five years. Its aim is to implement innovation projects, create cross-border exchange on energy issues and raise awareness on the needs and contribution of border regions to the energy transition.
