Upon a request from the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia - ეკონომიკის სამინისტრო to International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the Agency had embarked on a Renewable Readiness Assessment (RRA) process in the country. In partnership with the Ministry, IRENA facilitated an Expert Validation Workshop as virtual event yesterday to engage large number of relevant stakeholders and discuss challenges and validate draft recommendations for the development of renewables and #energytransition in #Georgia. The outcomes of the discussions provided substantive inputs for the finalization of short- to medium-term actions and recommendations to improve the conditions and remove the existing barriers to scale up the #renewable power.

☀🌻 BayernLB acts as MLA for Enfinity Globals newest project in Italy – the financing of eight utility-scale solar power plants. Located in the regions of Lazio and Emiglia Romana the plants will provide renewable energy for approx. 100,000 Italian households, starting in 2025. That correspondents to a power generation of 271 GWh per year and will offset 122,000 tons of CO2 emissions in future times. Supporting the Baltic region's ambitious renewable energy goals, the SeaRenergy Group had the privilege of presenting its services to the Estonian Delegation at the Erneuerbare Energien Hamburg (EEHH) headquarters. This valuable exchange connected companies and expertise, fostering collaboration in offshore wind and hydrogen to drive sustainable innovation. With plans to source 100% of its electricity from renewables by 2030, Estonia is setting a strong example for the region. Key investments, such as €53 million in the Port of Tallinn, highlight the growing importance of offshore wind infrastructure. Representing the SeaRenergy Group, Managing Director Jelte-Steffen Hipp joined Yannick Schmidt and Julian Moritz Dannemann from SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH to showcase our extensive offshore wind services.
