When members refer fellow members to new roles, the corporate world gets a little more badass too 🍑 Love this! That’s “Director,” to you, from now on ❤️🔥 #community #newrole #deileaders #referrals #pfizer #pfizerproud #communitylove #championothers #elevateyourcareer #elevateyourbrand
Overjoyed about my latest career move: Director of DEI at Pfizer! At Pfizer we leverage diversity to solve impossible outcomes that will save patients lives. I was extremely intentional in choosing Pfizer. Impact is key for me and I began to loose steam looking for organizations who had similar values. Equity, Courage, Excellence, and Joy sang to the values my heart was looking for. Thank you to Kristy Singletary for encouraging me to take the leap to believe I am more than capable. Thank you to my empowering leader Ramcess Jean-Louis for trusting me to drive change and amplifying my voice. #pfizerproud #newbeginnings #pfizer #impact #deileaders

Trust is crucial in any industry, but for public relations leaders in biopharma, it's a top priority. Despite a slight increase in trust during the COVID-19 pandemic, the pharmaceutical sector remains the least trusted within healthcare, as reported by the Edelman Trust Barometer. Recently, my colleague Rady Johnson, Pfizer’s Chief Compliance, Quality and Risk Officer, and I had the honor to host Pfizer’s Compliance and Legal Divisions’ EQUITY IN ACTION SUMMIT, the theme of which was “Me+We=Building a Culture of Belonging.” We heard from experts in the field, as well as colleagues and others with a story to tell. Each one was as inspiring as the next, and they all reminded me that only when we include everyone are we able to deliver the best results for the patients who count on us. Recently, some in corporate America have stepped back from previous DE&I commitments. At Pfizer, we’re doubling down because we believe that there is a moral obligation for a company such as ours to be leaders in this field. We are taking bold actions to recruit and retain the most diverse workforce possible, and to bring our innovative vaccines and medicines to all who need them, regardless of socio-economic status. That’s what we’ve been doing for 175 years and what we will continue to do. #DEI #Equity #Inclusion

I’m filled with gratitude after speaking at Merck's Q4 Town Hall yesterday to the incredible team in the trades. It’s always a privilege to share mindset tools and hear the personal stories and emotions of those who open up. The opportunity to offer just a bit of guidance makes this work so rewarding. ❤️🏆 A special thank you to Ed Spooner for not only inviting me to speak but also giving me an amazing tour of Merck’s facility afterward. To see firsthand the operations within this "mini city" and witness the extraordinary work being done—especially in the realm of vaccines—was nothing short of inspiring. The level of dedication, focus on safety, and the shared commitment to making an impact in healthcare is truly remarkable. The conversations around stress, safety, mindset, and Merck’s core values left a lasting impression on me. It’s clear that Merck not only values these things, but actively integrates them into every aspect of its work. I’m deeply grateful to be able to contribute in any way to the important work being done here. Huge thanks again to Ed Spooner and Milani Johnson, CHST for making the event run so smoothly and for their warm hospitality. Your thoughtful support means everything. Remember, everything is figureoutable, and being grateful for the little things really does make all the difference. #Grateful #MindsetMatters #Merck #Vaccines #Safety #StressManagement #GivingBack #TheChampionWithin #Trades #ShutdownSeason #MerckValues #Mindset

"Worry less about having a strategy for your career and worry a lot about loving the job you are in and being the best at it....that's how you unlock opportunity" - Ryan Roslansky Every job I've had since leaving school, I've tried my hardest to be the best I can at. Even the jobs I didn't like but I had to do to simply pay the bills. Since leaving my last full-time job in professional hair care back in 2015, I've had the pleasure of appearing on TV and films, providing voiceovers on adverts and appearing on podcasts, presenting for a variety of companies and helping people discover work they actually enjoy. Every job I take now (I still act and present as well as career coach), I absolutely love. Every job gives me the freedom I need, utilises my skills and knowledge and I have a passion for. Imagine doing work that actually brings you happiness, fulfilment and purpose. Well, fortunately for you, you don't have to imagine. Instead, you could reach out to me and schedule a completely free coaching session followed by a simple exercise to do in your own time. Will you discover your ideal career in just 1 coaching session? No. Absolutely not. What you WILL discover, however, is a much clearer picture of what YOU need in a career to be happy. What motivates you. What skills you enjoy using and, with this knowledge, you can then make a better informed decision as to wether coaching is something you'd like to have more of. People often misbelieve that if they have career coaching they MUST change their career. NOT TRUE! While some clients do shift to a different career, not all do. Some simply make adjustments to their existing career to make space for what's missing. Others stay in the same field but work freelance. Others realise they love the job but the company no longer aligns with their values so they move companies. Others decide to stay exactly as they are. Everyone is different and that's fine. The early stages of career coaching are simply EXPLORING. There's no commitment. You don't ask someone on a date believing that, because you've asked them on a date, you MUST get married. Coaching is exactly the same. You're just EXPLORING your options. So, if you've been wondering if there's something else you could be doing other than your current career, reach out and we can explore this together. What happens if nothing changes? #careers #LinkedIn #lovewhatyoudo #careerchange #careercoaching #absolutioncoaching #followme #reachout
