Diving into Product Design - Week #07. Quick update from my product design Bootcamp at Memorisely. After three weeks of exploration, we're diving into the define and ideation phase. Exciting, yes! But also tricky, as you need to balance being super precise on your problem statement and super open-minded to welcome all possible solutions! Here are the tools that helped me organize my thoughts as we move forward: 1. “How might we ...?" Transforming our discoveries into simple "How might we ...?" questions to ensure we focus on the right problems. 2. SWCDUO Using the SWCDUO framework (Strength, Weakness, Content, Design, User Experience, Opportunity) to gain insights into our competitors. 3. Information Architecture Breaking down our product's content into smaller pieces to understand every detail. 4. Crazy 8 Generating 8 ideas in 8 minutes to avoid filtering ideas. "Energy in meetings" as a superpower! This is definitely one of the biggest ones! Just attended a great UX research training session at Indeed and one of the biggest difference in this one compared to other trainings was definitely the energy and flow of the session.
