People always ask me how can you be a generational pattern breaker in your family. The reality is most of us have the capacity to do so. The fastest way to break generational patterns is to BE the change. Not tell others what to do. Not to find solutions outside of yourself. But to recognize your own suffering and choosing to do something about it. Then you will become the solution to your own problem. Many of us were called to forge a new path. Create a new story. It starts with you. Happy Friday! #womenleaders #womeninleadership #womenintheworkplace

This INK from TellTOM.ink reflects a truth that many of us feel but rarely discuss. Frustration is so often dismissed, silenced, or ignored—yet it’s one of the most powerful signals we have. In Perry Knoppert, we believe frustration is more than an emotion—it’s a message. It reveals disconnection, unmet needs, or cracks in systems we’ve been taught to accept without question. And it doesn’t have to be loud or divisive. When given space, frustration can lead to clarity and connection. That’s why we created TellTOM.ink: a space to share what’s on your mind freely, without judgment or expectation. It’s not about venting—it’s about exploring. Diving into the cause of frustrations and seeing what they tell us about ourselves, our systems, and our world. What frustrates you? What would it feel like to have a space where you could truly let it out? Join the movement. Ink it out. Let’s see what clarity and connection can come from simply being heard. "So frustrated, but not sure why." Frustration is one of the most human experiences, yet it’s one of the least accepted. In business and leadership, we’re taught to mask it, to smooth it over, to stay “professional.” But what if suppressing frustration is what stops us from understanding it? Frustrations aren’t just emotions to be ignored—they’re signals. They highlight friction, disconnection, and unmet needs. But here’s the thing: frustration itself isn’t the problem. The real challenge is that we’ve been conditioned to avoid it entirely, fearing it will make us look unkind, irrational, or even weak. What if we had a space to address frustration without shame or judgment? Not to vent aimlessly, but to uncover the root causes. That’s what TellTOM.ink is for—a place where frustrations, big or small, can be shared freely and anonymously. It’s a way to say: This is what’s not working. Let’s understand it together. Because when we dive into the causes of frustration, we unlock something powerful: clarity. Clarity about what needs to change—whether it’s within systems, relationships, or even ourselves. Frustration doesn’t have to be loud or divisive. It can be insightful, transformative, and deeply constructive. It just needs a space to exist. What’s been frustrating you lately? Let’s explore it, without judgment, without masks. 🐙 Perry "Dr. Octopus" Knoppert #TellTOM #Leadership #FrustrationsMatter #NonlinearThinking #theOctopusMovement ♻️ TellTOM.ink: Is brought to you by The Octopus Movement, where nonlinear minds unite to solve the unsolvable. In both business and life, the beliefs we hold shape our reality. If you’re holding onto beliefs like “I’m not good enough” or “I don’t deserve success,” those stories will unconsciously guide your decisions and actions. But here’s the good news: limiting beliefs are only true if you accept them. You have the power to rewrite the story. What limiting belief is holding you back from reaching your next level of success? Let today be the day you challenge it, step out of your comfort zone, and create a new truth for yourself. #LeadershipDevelopment #MindsetShift #WomenInBusiness #PersonalGrowth #LimitlessPotential

Tuesday Truth: When One 'Event' Derails Everything You’re having a good day, feeling productive and focused. Then it happens—a single email from your boss, a passing comment, or overhearing a conversation. Suddenly, your mind is spinning: "What did I do wrong?" "Am I getting fired?" "Why didn’t they include me in that meeting?" In an instant, your confidence crumbles, and the story in your mind takes over. Hours pass—sometimes even the whole day—lost in overthinking and self-doubt. I know this because I’ve been there. There was a time when this spiral had me questioning everything—my abilities, my future, even my worth. I let fear and the stories in my head control my actions, and it derailed more than just a day; it shook my career and my confidence. That’s why I coach women. I’ve fallen into this trap, and I know how devastating it can feel. But I also know there’s a way out. I’ve learned how to identify the stories we tell ourselves, challenge them, and replace them with truth and clarity. Now, I help women do the same. To catch themselves before they fall too far. To stop the spiral, reclaim their focus, and find their power again. Truth for today: You are not alone in these thoughts, but you don’t have to let them define you. The next time you feel derailed, stop and ask yourself: • What is the actual evidence here? • Am I making assumptions, or is this a fact? • What is one action I can take right now to move forward? If this resonates with you, and you’re tired of being stuck in the spiral, let’s talk. Together, we can rewrite the story and get you moving forward with clarity and confidence. Because you are so much more capable than you give yourself credit for. Are you ready to stop the tailspin and take back your day? #mindsetmatters #leadership #success

Change can feel overwhelming, tempting us to worry about factors beyond our reach. Remember the circles: focus on your Circle of Control – the actions you can take. This empowers you, while fretting over the Circle of Concern only fuels anxiety. Influence what you can, accept what you can't. #CircleOfControl #LeadershipMindset #ChangeManagement

💥Stop Wasting Your Energy on What Doesn’t Matter💥 *“The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Damn”* is more than a book—it’s a wake-up call. In a world obsessed with doing it all, *caring less* is a superpower. Here’s what it taught me: 1️⃣ Clarity is Power: You can’t care about everything. Focus on what truly moves the needle. 2️⃣ Own Your Choices: Stop blaming, stop waiting—your life is 100% your responsibility. 3️⃣ Redefine Success:Don’t chase what society celebrates. Pursue what gives *your* life meaning. Caring about everything = burnout. Caring about *the right things* = fulfillment. So, here’s my challenge to you: 👉 What’s one thing you’ll stop giving unnecessary energy to today? Drop it in the comments and take back your power. #Leadership #Focus #MindsetShift #DoWhatMatters

Have you ever felt held back by self-doubt or wondered if you’re truly capable of reaching your big dreams? You’re not alone. Many high-achieving women experience limiting beliefs and imposter syndrome—and these challenges can feel especially heavy when you’re balancing a busy career, family, and personal aspirations. Today, I want to share a few ways to start overcoming these mental barriers, including: ✨ Pay Attention to Your Self-Talk Noticing your inner dialogue can reveal limiting beliefs hiding in plain sight. Start by jotting down recurring negative thoughts—are they based on fact, or just stories you’ve absorbed over time? ✨ Question Your Beliefs Challenge each limiting thought. For example, if you believe, “I’m not good at public speaking,” ask yourself, “What evidence do I have for this?” You may surprise yourself with examples of past success. ✨ Reframe Your Thinking Empowering affirmations can help you reshape your mindset. Instead of saying, “I don’t belong here,” try, “I’ve earned my place and bring unique strengths to the table.” These are just a few of the ways you can begin to silence your inner critic. If you’re interested in practical steps to build your confidence and strengthen your resilience, I invite you to read more on this week's blog post. 😊 Remember, you don’t have to let self-doubt hold you back from the life you’re meant to live. https://lnkd.in/gytYsNTu

🚫 Limiting beliefs are sneaky. They tell you that “you’re not ready,” “it’s too hard,” or “this isn’t the right time.” But these beliefs? They’re just stories holding you back. Today’s Challenge: Call out a limiting belief you’ve noticed lately and challenge it: EVIDENCE GATHERING: Look for evidence that contradicts your limiting belief. Ask yourself: Are there examples of people who have succeeded despite similar challenges? What skills or resources do I already possess that can help me? REFRAME THE NARRATIVE: Change the way you talk to yourself. Instead of saying, “I can’t do this,” try, “I haven’t learned how to do this yet, but I can.” Remember, every time you challenge a limiting belief, you make room for a more empowered you. What’s one belief you’re ready to challenge today? Share it below or keep it close to remind yourself of your commitment to growth. #ChallengeYourself #OvercomingLimits #GrowthMindset #ProfessionalWomen #EmpoweredToGrow #LimitlessPotential #MindsetShift #BelieveInYourself
