In Iran, post-method teaching can often feel more like a myth than a widespread reality. While there are educators who aim to move beyond traditional methods, the system's structure, including standardized curricula, exams, and a heavy focus on grammar and rote learning, often limits true post-method implementation. The idea of post-method pedagogy is about teachers making informed, adaptive choices based on their students' needs and local contexts. However, in many Iranian classrooms, teachers may feel pressured to stick to prescribed methods due to expectations from parents, school authorities, and institutional constraints. This makes it challenging to fully embrace the flexibility and autonomy that post-method teaching advocates. Yet, there are exceptions, and some progressive educators are experimenting with more holistic approaches. Overall, though, it's still more of an ideal than a widespread practice in the country. Does this align with your perspective?
