We can’t afford to stay silent. Gun violence is tearing through our communities, and it’s on us to stand up, speak out, and demand change. Advocacy isn’t easy. Hard conversations are uncomfortable. But it’s time to show up – for our neighbors, our families, and our future. We have the power to push for solutions that protect lives. It starts with raising our voices, holding our leaders accountable, and voting like lives depend on it – because they do. #EndGunViolence #ForOurFuture #ShowUpAndVote #DNC2024

As with all types of domestic and family violence, abuse of family pets (or any animals for that matter) should attract zero tolerance. Threats to and actual harm to pets are both a tactic of perpetrators and an indicator of serious harm up to and including risk of lethality. This infographic highlights the complexity of this issue and the importance of having accessible services in regional Queensland for animals in crisis.

As summer approaches, it is crucial to remain vigilant about drowning prevention, as drowning is a silent killer. #drowningprevention #watersafety #summersafety
Remember, drowning doesn't look like what you see in the movies; it's silent and can happen in seconds. It's a quiet emergency, happening in moments when attention might lapse. This critical fact reminds us why using the 5-layers of protection and knowing the signs of someone in distress are essential around water. Let's spread awareness to ensure the safety of our loved ones. Drowning is silent, but our advocacy shouldn't be! #WaterSafetySeason2024 #DrownAlliance #DrowningPrevention
