I love how thought-provoking the title is. It is both captivating and layered with meaning. On one hand, it flips the narrative of the🧔♂️🧔♂️🧔♂️ Three Wise Men, immediately evoking ideas of wisdom, compassion, and practical support. On the other, it feels deeply empowering, highlighting and celebrating the essential contributions women make to society in ways that are often overlooked. It manages to be both clever and deeply resonant, offering a fresh lens through which to view both ancient stories and modern values.#Genderequality

Here’s another way you can help support DIAPER BANK OF NORTH CAROLINA
The Essentials Hub was designed in collaboration with community members in under-resourced communities across our state to remove access barriers and provide more equity in our programs. Working alongside community members, DBNC fills the Essentials Hub several times a month with hygiene products that are not covered by government-funded programs like WIC or SNAP and delivers them directly to high-need communities in North Carolina. This year, the DBNC Essentials Hub has made 46 DISTRIBUTIONS to high need neighborhoods, distributing 100,704 diapers (serving 2014 babies), 21,548 period products (serving 1,077 individuals), and 1,678 adult incontinence products serving 56 seniors. We need your help to keeping this resource stocked! Please add DBNC to your holiday giving list and support our work: https://lnkd.in/e6YJvBVq #DiaperOnNC #EndPeriodPoverty

It’s Giving Tuesday & You Have the Power to Change Lives Did you know? The average expectant mother considering adoption who connects with SOS is 26 years old. She is often already parenting one or more children, facing unimaginable pressure due to a lack of resources and support. At SOS, we know she isn’t “making a choice”—she's crying out for help. She is totally desperate and is trying to make adoption make sense. She has not found the resources, support or information she feels she needs to end the crisis. Adoption propaganda is real, and it’s everywhere. For so many families, the so-called “choice” to consider adoption stems from systemic failures, not a lack of love or desire to parent: Affordable housing waitlists in every state average 3 years, if they are even accepting applications. Access to essential resources like affordable childcare, transportation, and financial aid is critically limited for young and/or new families. These parents aren’t asking for a handout—they’re asking for a LIFELINE during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives. And here’s the truth: SOS has documented that expectant mothers who have connected with them need on average $3,500 to stabilize their situation and preserve their family, while the average cost of an infant adoption in the U.S. is a staggering $40,000 - and some adoption entities charge as much as $75,000. Imagine the Difference You Can Make For the cost of one adoption, 12 families could be preserved and supported through their crises. That means: 12 mothers would not face the lifelong ambiguous grief, guilt and shame. 12 infants would not be forced to endure their first life experience of trauma by maternal separation. 12 families could remain intact, breaking the cycle of multi-generational loss. 12 mothers and 12 infants would not need lifelong therapy the indu$try says they will need for the trauma inflicted on them. Countless siblings would never know the pain of being separated via adoption. How You Can Help? Every action you take—donating, volunteering, sharing your skills, or spreading awareness—helps us reach families before irrevocable decisions are made. Donate: https://lnkd.in/ejpCvPkd Volunteer: Register for our Sister On The Ground program. Share Your Skills: Reach out and let us know how you’d like to contribute! Spread Awareness: Share our message! You have the power to make a difference. We're setting a goal of $10,500 to help 3 families. Your donation is tax deductible. One donation. Three families. One future without trauma. #SavingOurSisters #FamilyPreservation #PreventFamilySeparation #ProMomandBaby #ProFamily #EthicalAdoptionIsFamilyPreservation #SupportFamilies #SupportNotSeparate #ReunificationFirst #EndUnnecessaryAdoption #YouCanMakeADifference #FightForResources #Volunteer #Charity #NonProfit #BootsOnTheGround #KnowBetterDoBetter #GivingTuesday
