🌊 #EuropeanMaritimeDay2024 Recap: Supporting the sustainable blue economy 🚢   On May 30th-31st, our joint stand “Interreg(ional) cooperation supporting the sustainable blue economy!” was presented at European Maritime Day 2024 in #Svendborg, Denmark. Our team — Stefan Breitenbach, Inga G., Jens Møller, Kasper Teilmann and Jesper Krarup Rulffs — showcased five impactful Interreg projects: Blue Supply Chains, Green Supply Chains, REDII Ports, #SPIES, and #DIOL.   🌟 The event featured engaging panel discussions, special sessions, and stakeholder workshops. This year’s focus is #sustainability and the #BlueEconomy 🌎. As vital gateways for trade and economic development, ports in the maritime industry face critical challenges: sustainability, #EnergyTransformation and #digitalization. Our team actively participated in the workshop session titled “Ports Development for a Sustainable Blue Economy,” drawing insights from the Port of Hamburg and the Port of Venice.   Stefan Breitenbach and Inga G., representing Hafen Hamburg Marketing e.V., shared their invaluable experiences in promoting sustainable port development. Their journey has transformed Hamburg into a leading sustainable energy hub in Europe. 🌿💡   🤝 Our representatives engaged in thought-provoking discussions with visitors at our stand. The exchange of ideas was inspiring! We look forward to reconnecting with all of you at future events. Stay tuned! 🙌   #GreenSupplyChains is #MadeWithInterreg, funded by the Interreg North Sea Programme and supported by the North Sea Commission.   #EuropeanMaritimeDay #SustainablePorts #BlueEconomy
