Yesterday, in a virtual meeting, I presented a training and development model we have been working on at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for the past 6 months in collaboration with TwentyOne Leadership Ltd. This model, coined 'LOCUS', focuses on building a psychologically safe culture at a workplace to increase #employeeengagement. By implementing the phases of Leadership Training, Orientation of employees, Culture Creation and Up-skilling/Continuous Learning, this model aims to achieve Success with a full-scale training programme of 6-8 weeks. The model targets employees across organisational hierarchies with specifically curated interventions and organisational practices. Designing an L&D campaign for a real-time business need for the very first time was a challenging, but brilliant experience. By combining data, literature and practicality of learning programmes, we were successful in developing a highly implementable #model for direct application with clients across industries. A special mention of gratitude to Richard Nugent for his constant support, guidance and availability. I'd also like to thank Dr Katie Best, our supervisor, for helping shape an idea into fruition with specific recommendations and immense industry knowledge. Lastly, I thank Pritha Yadav, my colleague, for her support and contribution through this project cycle. I am incredibly excited to witness how #LOCUS will impact and shape the space of #leadershiptraining, and enable organisations to sustainably create #psychologicalsafety for business level outcomes. If you'd like to know more about the model and this process, or even share your similar insights, I would love to connect for a quick chat.
