EllisJames Creative supported Ontic with designs for the large graphics around their stand scheme. Our approach was to work in terms of elevations and outside/inside messaging: On the outside of the stand, we aimed to establish brand benefits and domains of capability: schematic key line graphics of airframes highlight the areas of specialism for Ontic while creating a modern technical feel; while the largest graphic locations are used for high impact, dynamic images and top line brand messaging. When visitors actually get on to the stand, we can start adding some more specifics with graphics that demonstrate Ontic’s exceptionally wide scope of capability. We knew from the outset that the graphics would be internally illuminated. That’s a key consideration when designing for events - colours have additional vibrancy, and blacks and dark colours can be used to deepen contrast to highlight white areas (which are always brightest) so they really pop. I recommend that anyone working with connected vehicle data, traffic, or safety data (of any kind) spend some time with the xyzt.ai team. I know firsthand the complexity of working with granular data sources. Data is one thing, but what is essential is useable, actionable analytics and insights. The xyzt.ai platform combines multiple sources, meaning you can get precious insight from various data sources. Most importantly, it's easy and intuitive, but you also control the exploration and output. It's not uncommon globally, but especially in the US, I saw the public and private sectors challenged by several sources of connected vehicle data, telematics, roadside, and manual data sets. Working with all of it was almost impossible to gain the most value. These guys make it possible.

This week, the team dedicated to Seamless European freight transport in #FP5 TRANS4M-R gathered in Frankfurt to plan upcoming demonstrations.
