Norwegian maritime experts have taken part in two days of insightful conversations and networking at the ‘Navigating Excellence: The Norwegian – Greek Maritime Innovation Summit’ event in Greece. We have been commissioned by the CLIA | Cruise Lines International Association to carry out a comprehensive Global Investment Plan Study aimed at steering the cruise sector towards a sustainable future. The study will cover all areas of the world outside Europe and will focus on a holistic view of the cruise industry's infrastructure and regulatory needs worldwide. It aims to provide clarity on the current status and future developments in fuel infrastructure and deployment over the next 5-10 years. The research will provide a worldwide scenario focused on the cruise sector, mapping real-time energy needs, infrastructure and regulations with foresight scenarios extending to 2050. The outcomes are expected to shape the industry's approach to sustainability for decades to come, setting a benchmark for environmental stewardship in the maritime sector. #MakeItRINA #GrowWithRINA

🚢 Piraeus Hosts ULG Meeting at Blue Economy Conference 🌊 As part of the C4TALENT project, Piraeus' third Urban Local Stakeholder Group (ULG) meeting was held togehter with the "Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainability in the Blue Economy" annual conference. Participants engaged in dynamic panel discussions on key Blue Economy topics, including the role of universities in fostering innovation and sustainability, and explored financial tools for businesses in shipping, tourism, and fishing industries. The event also hosted the 9th Blue Growth Competition, showcasing outstanding ideas: 🥇 Nature4Nature (eco-friendly artificial reefs) 🥈 NEREID (AI-based marina management) 🥉 Angelfish (autonomous boats for water cleaning) The C4TALENT team proudly presented our project to these innovators, paving the way for exciting collaborations!
