💡 Yesterday I attended the executive session with Jean-Paul Prates at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC). Here are my key takeaways from the session "Producing Low-Carbon Oil and Preparing for the Future": 1. Petrobras is boosting its oil and gas outputs while also advancing as a key player in renewable energy. This strategy meets current market demands and prepares for future energy transitions. 2. The company is heavily investing in reducing its carbon footprint across all operations, focusing on wind and solar projects, carbon capture technologies, and biorefining advancements. 3. Petrobras stresses the importance of working closely with governments and industry partners to seize opportunities and steer the energy transition, aligning efforts with public policies for sustainable energy. 4. Aligned with COP-30 goals, Petrobras is committed to leading the energy transition through sustainable and economically feasible practices, making positive impacts both locally and globally, and ensuring equitable energy transitions. 5.
