Salmon stocks in England reach record low According to the Atlantic Salmon Stock Assessment for 2024 from the Environment Agency (EA) and the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas), 90 percent of principal salmon rivers in England are classified as either ‘at risk’ or ‘probably at risk,’ meaning salmon numbers are below minimum levels to support sustainable populations. read more: https://lnkd.in/gG4Sp9i9

Additionally, during the last Committee, it was confirmed that #Chile and #Ecuador will jointly hold the first vice presidency at #COFI37. 🌎 💚 Between July 8 and 12 in Rome, Italy, the 36th session of the Committee on Fisheries (COFI) of the FAO took place.
