One persistent challenge in renewable energy is balancing demand and supply cycles while minimizing environmental impact seamlessly. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll begin installing state-of-the-art electrolyzer equipment in Governo do Estado do Piauí under the exceptional leadership of Governor Rafael Fonteles. This initiative is made possible through the memorandum of understanding we signed in #Rotterdam. At the heart of this project is #H2GREEM’s pioneering technology, featuring modular, scalable, and customized PEM electrolyzers. These advanced units: 🔧 Are designed for multiple industrial, feedstock, and mobility applications. 🔋 Provide a plug-and-play solution tailored to each project’s specific needs. ⚡ Offer cutting-edge operational safety by housing the equipment in innovative containerized units. 🌱 Replace the need for hydrogen tube trailers or liquid hydrogen storage, ensuring efficient, sustainable energy use. We’re excited to put the spotlight on Teréga, a key player in the energy sector, and their upcoming HySow project, a significant contribution to the H2eart for Europe Alliance.   🌟 Teréga's HySoW Project 🌟   Teréga has launched the HySow project, which is focused on harnessing salt caverns for hydrogen storage. This network of pipelines and vast underground storage aims to: · Decarbonise: HySoW accelerates clean hydrogen adoption, reducing reliance on fossil fuels. · Secure: Massive storage ensures a reliable hydrogen supply. · Grow: The network connects key hubs, fostering new hydrogen industries and clean mobility. HySoW project boasts an impressive 600-kilometre pipeline network able to transport 16 TWh/year of decarbonised hydrogen across the whole of the South West, around a third of the length consisting in repurposed ex-gas pipelines. Safe, underground storage in salt caverns in Nouvelle-Aquitaine plans to reach a storage capacity of 500 GWh GCV by 2030 (equivalent to around 13,000 industrial-scale batteries) and expanding to 1 TWh GCV by 2050. This visionary project set to start in 2030 is a crucial catalyst for decarbonisation, reindustrialisation, and a secure, clean energy future in Europe.
