The high-level target of COLOSSUS is to pave the way for future European aviation products and services which are designed in a truly #holistic approach.   COLOSSUS Use Cases – 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐌) & 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐄𝐕𝐄) The main objective of the use cases in COLOSSUS is to support the development, evaluation and demonstration of advanced SoS capabilities in aviation research. They shall ensure that complex, multi-level SoS can be set up, analysed and evaluated in a collaborative, integrated and efficient manner. Use case 𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐌: Creating a business model for novel aircraft concepts (eVTOL and sea plane) with a focus on sustainable intermodal mobility and evaluating the concept for performance, competitiveness, environmental impact and life cycle footprint. The use case includes the integration of the new modes with the existing modes of transport for a complete intermodal evaluation. Use case 𝐄𝐕𝐄: Developing an integrated fast-response approach using novel aircraft concepts for fighting wildfires combining latest developments in the fields of aircraft design, fleeting, AI and operational Tactics.
