International Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure (ICSI)’s Post

Last week, we were thrilled to host an engaging roundtable in Brussels, bringing together leading voices from the ports, #shipping, and #offshorerenewableenergy sectors. The discussions shed light on innovative case studies, challenges, and opportunities to scale nature-positive solutions across Europe. Hearing from such a diverse group of experts was truly inspiring - a big thank you to everyone who contributed their expertise and vision to this important conversation! Special thanks to Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCoM) for hosting this event!

The Foundation was present at the International Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure (ICSI)’s latest roundtable on nature-positive #engineering in Brussels last week.   We heard from experts from across the ports, #shipping and offshore renewable energy sectors share the current state of practice throughout Europe, identify emerging trends and discuss opportunities to scale the implementation of nature-positive solutions.   Insights from this event will inform the final recommendations in Lloyd's Register Foundation's Nature-positive Engineering Foresight Review, to be launched in 2025.
