At Expleo Group, we’re constantly inspired by leaders who drive digital transformation with vision and resilience. Barry Lowry's tenure as CIO at Ireland’s Department of Public Expenditure and Reform is a testament to how transparency, innovation, and strategic alliances can overcome significant challenges. Lowry's approach, which focuses on building alliances and fostering a collaborative environment, has been instrumental in advancing Ireland’s digital government. His success with the 2019 Data Sharing Governance Act, ensuring GDPR compliance while enabling seamless data sharing, highlights the importance of a clear legal framework in digital transformation. The rapid development and success of the COVID tracker app during the pandemic demonstrated the public sector's ability to deliver effective digital services, a feat often attributed to the private sector. This achievement, along with the launch of MyGovID, underscores the power of a well-executed data-sharing strategy. At Expleo Group, we understand the complexities of navigating regulatory landscapes and the necessity of quick wins to maintain momentum. Lowry's experience serves as a valuable case study for anyone involved in digital transformation, especially in environments where resistance to change is prevalent. The upcoming digital wallet initiative and the push for cloud adoption reflect a forward-thinking mindset that we at Expleo share and champion in our projects. Leaders like Lowry pave the way for a future where digital innovation is seamlessly integrated into public services, benefiting citizens and enhancing operational efficiency. https://lnkd.in/eYTCVN3v

What can we tell from the performance and prospects of the leading suppliers to the UK public sector tech market this year? TechMarketView’s latest analysis shows that 15 of the top 20 suppliers to the UK public sector tech market grew their revenues from the sector last year, one stood still, and four saw revenues decline. In recent years, suppliers ranked 11 to 20 in the sector have tended to grow at a faster rate than those in the Top 10, but this trend ended last year with the combined revenue of the Top 10 improving by over 8% and those ranked 11-20 by 6.5%. What is more, the combined revenue of the Top 10 was more than twice that of those in the lower half of the table. But it’s when we start to analyse the prospects for each of the suppliers in the UK public sector software and IT services market that things get really interesting. 💡Which suppliers are set to climb the rankings, and which are destined to slip further down, or even out, in the coming months? 🌟 Who will present the stiffest competition and in which areas of the market – central government, local government, health, defence, education or criminal justice? 🎯 Which contracts are coming up for renewal and do they present an opportunity for other suppliers? 🤝 Who should you be partnering with for the best chance of success? Check out TechMarketView’s latest #PublicSectorViews report to find the answers to these questions and many more 👉 https://lnkd.in/eaDyrsaR Suppliers profiled in this report: Accenture • Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Atos • BAE Systems • BT Group • Capgemini • Capita • CGI • Civica • Deloitte • DXC Technology • Fujitsu • IBM • Leidos • Maximus • Microsoft • Oracle • OSUK (Liberata)• Serco • Sopra Steria #govtech #healthtech #edtech #publicsector #tech
