The alpine tundra in Europe’s high mountains is a vital freshwater reservoir and habitat for unique species. 🌍 However, with 3°C warming, this ecosystem could shrink by 84%. I hope and pray this does not happen. Let us do all we can to mitigate climate change by regenerating ecosystems

Wow that 84% reduction is huge! Hopefully Europeans in alpine regions are collaborating on the climate driven shift to shape new forests that replace the gap. Thanks European Commission and UN Biodiversity
