▫️#NewZealand Prime Minister Christopher Laxon announced a new aid package to #Ukraine worth NZ$16 million (USD9.8 million) during the NATO summit in #Washington, DC. This was announced by Ukraine's Ambassador to #Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko. The aid will be distributed in several areas: 6 million New Zealand dollars ($3.68 million) will go to #military needs, and 10 million New Zealand dollars ($6.12 million) will be used for humanitarian aid. ▫️The military aid includes $2.45 million for the #DroneCoalition, led by the #UnitedKingdom and #Latvia, and $1.23 million for Ukraine's military #medical needs. "New Zealand understands that although we are far away from Ukraine, what is happening there affects all of us, and we are committed to #supportingUkraine for the long term," said Lacson. ▫️The total amount of aid provided by New Zealand to Ukraine has reached 130 million New Zealand dollars (approximately 79.5 million US dollars). *Northern Gaza - firing at civilians waiting for aid trucks*💔 Al-Jazeera reports that the Isreli military is opening fire tonight at thousands of hungry civilians at al-Kuwait roundabout in Gaza City. Spokesperson for the Civil Defense, Mahmoud Basal: Isreli army are deliberately targeting Palestinians seeking aid to create a state of chaos. The method of delivering aid trucks and the conditions for obtaining scarce aid are degrading and and beyond inhumane. Palestinian media: Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip wait until late hours in the dark and cold when aid trucks could be let in by Isrelis during the daytime. Then they run when there is news of aid trucks coming. Maybe 3 trucks… Then they are fired upon by the Israeli army. Surving the carpet bombing was a miracle. Escaping from schools and hospitals being bombed was a miracle. Surviving the drone attacks and sniper bullets was a miracle. Surviving the forced starvation was a miracle. Surving the Flour massacre was a miracle... despite all this you are still fired upon as target practice to entertain the genocidal colonialists. They should be welcomed as hero's for surviving against all odds, instead met with more bullets. The Palestinians deserve the breath of life. What's been inflicted upon the Palestinians is evil.
