Walking the Talk: Honoring Rest As someone who empowers others to create sustainable success without burning out or selling out, it’s essential to practice what I preach—even when life throws curveballs. Launching my podcast has been a rewarding journey. I worked hard to learn the platform, produce six episodes, and plan the initial promotions. It was exhilarating—a mix of humility, excitement, and growth. I have been feeling the rush of aligned momentum of my own making- and it felt good! Then, life hit pause. Thursday, I woke up with a sore throat. By Friday, I could barely get out of bed. It’s now Monday, and I’m still not feeling 100%. Instead of pushing through, I’m choosing to honor my recovery by creating a week that aligns with what my body needs. This week will include more rest, lighter commitments, and an intentional focus on my health. I’ll work on what feels aligned and give myself permission to pause when needed. As we navigate cold and flu season, how are you prioritizing your well-being? I’d love to hear how you’re creating space for recovery and balance in your life.
