Making a difference is what my job is all about

Making a difference is what my job is all about

When talking to friends and mentioning that I've been working for the same company for almost 18 years, they tend to be surprised! But when I explain in concrete terms what I do on a daily basis and for whom, they smile and say they understand why I'm still at Wellspect.

Here, we are passionate about what we do and we enjoy working together, outlines Sandrine who explains that the daily dealings with the product prescribers, trying to keep or gain their confidence, is what keeps her on top –

It is certainly that along with the knowledge that in the end, there’s a user who will be helped by our products.

And Sandrine continues: “I have had many memorable moments, but the one that left the biggest impression and, to be honest, scared me at first, was the COVID-19 period. We didn't know how things would turn out. Very quickly, we did everything we could to reassure our customers and above all our users, because for them, the worry – or fear even – was that they wouldn't receive their supply. We really managed to make a difference to them during this difficult period. The reason why we keep our good relations with our customers is because we listen to them and respond to their needs, which is essential.

The thing to do when you've been in the same business for a while is to question yourself, focusing on what's working and what could be improved.

Touching on another unforgettable memory, Sandrine mentions the launch of Wellspect’s LoFric Elle female catheter, a real revolution for women. “I'd go so far as to say that we were ahead of our time, just as we were when LoFric was launched in 1983 with our Urotonic Surface Technology, which still makes the real difference today. This great story with our quality products continues, as in 2023 we released the LoFric Origo with a new flexible tip to complete our range, which was eagerly awaited by the market! It has been a great success, meeting a real demand!
