Community of Change: The Intersection and Impact of Black LGBTQ + Men
Join us and the Gantt for a community dialogue in honor of the Men of Change exhibition facilitated by Jermaine Nakia Lee, Nate Turner, and Chandler “Chan” Robinson.
Inspired by Men of Change Bayard Rustin, Alvin Ailey, Kehinde Wiley, James Baldwin, and others, this conversation will explore the intersection and impact of Black LGBTQ+ men, what we can do on an individual level to uplift and support, the history of Charlotte Black Pride, and more!
Be part of this conversation and meet us at the Gantt on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Consider a Gift this Giving Tuesday
November 29 is Giving Tuesday! This is a chance for you to make a gift to Levine Museum that will support our programs in 2023.
For example, a $50 gift will help fund supplies for five children at one Family Day event. A gift of $250 will help fund a guided walking tour of Brooklyn for 25 students.
Listen to our latest Youth Voices discussion
On October 15, Our Turn and Levine Museum hosted an in-depth conversation with students from Charlotte, NC, about mental health in schools, how the pandemic has impacted collective well-being and how it intersects with justice, truth, and much more.
