Measuring Growth and Happiness Necessary

When it comes to growth, how can you measure your happiness?

Keeping track of your happiness is as important as tracking your growth!

Your happiness can only lead to your success!

Have you ever measured your happiness?

Don't wait any longer.

This edition is for you if you can't figure out how to measure it.

In this edition, I will share three simple ways to measure your happiness as soon as you grow in your life.

Growth & Happiness

Growth and happiness come side by side!

If you have read earlier editions of this newsletter, you indeed recalled it. If not, read this edition where I have mentioned that "Growth is the first step and Happiness is the second step of the success ladder."

It is, therefore, necessary to measure both regularly.

3 Simple ways to measure Happiness

Here are three simple ways:

(1) Analyse your behaviour

It is the simplest method to measure your happiness. Check your frequency of smiling and laughing during various activities. In simple words, try to get answers to such questions:

  • How often do you laugh?
  • What makes you laugh and smile?
  • How does helping others make you smile?

In my case: Selfies with close friends/strangers automatically make anyone smile. While travelling, I met with this lady (the first one) first time, but you can't figure out that it was our first meet-up.

(2) Discuss with your close ones

It is another simple way to find out your happiness. You can discuss your happiness with your close friends and family members. Because they know you much better. They know what your likes, dislikes, interests & boring activities are. Discussing with them can help to understand that when you do "X" activities, you feel happy, but when you do "Y" activities, you feel bored and don't show interest in doing those.

In my case: My sisters know that appreciation makes me happy, and the comparison makes me sad.

(3) Self-reflection

Ask yourself one simple but tricky question: "What is your level of happiness / Rate your happiness". Keep this question subjective and look back to your pasts. Find out all those things, events, and people that become reasons for your happiness. Deep and detailed answers would surely help to measure happiness.

In my case: I often ask this question myself to attain my goals and achieve success.

Final Thought

You shouldn't limit your pursuit of happiness to completing work and fulfilling responsibilities.

Sometimes, "Smiling at a stranger makes you happier."

Do all things that are a must for your growth. You feel happy seeing you grow (even 1% is also OK every day). This happiness makes you more positive, realistic, and confident, which is essential for success. Read this post I shared a few months ago.

Try these activities, and let me know your thoughts in the comment.

The best way to be stress free is when you calm your mind with basic facts like, what perception people have of you is built by them alone, you are a whole flower and you are enough and that love yourself like you'd want to love someone.
