⚡ Unlocking the power of Smart Energy: seven projects came together to showcase efficient, flexible and innovative solutions Last month, we had the privilege of hosting a session in Enlit Europe in Milan that brought together DEDALUS EU, DigiBUILD Project, EU-MORE, FORTESIE EU Project, InEExS LIFE, Reschool Project, RESONANCE Project under the #SmartEnergyCluster. 📲 By harnessing the power of digital technologies like AI, #blockchain, and digital twins, these projects are transforming the way we manage and consume #energy. From increasing the efficiency of buildings to empowering communities to participate in local energy markets, the potential for #innovation is vast. A key theme that emerged from the session was the importance of #dataintegration. By sharing and analyzing data from diverse sources, we can gain valuable insights and make informed decisions that drive energy efficiency and sustainability. Moreover, the event highlighted the critical role of #community engagement. By involving citizens and businesses in energy management, we can foster a more inclusive and resilient energy system. Last but not least, it is imperative to address the #financial barriers that often hinder the adoption of energy-efficient solutions. 🌟 Last week, October 22-24, the DigiBUILD Project showcased its innovations at Enlit Europe in Milan! 🌟 Our project proudly joined the #SmartEnergyCluster initiative, gaining visibility at the EU Projects Zone with a shared booth and participation in the joint workshop "Unlocking the power of smart energy: a new era in efficiency, flexibility and innovation”. Paired with DEDALUS EU, we contributed to the workshop's third session, where Elissaios Sarmas presented DigiBUILD's #AI-driven services and #DigitalTwins for intelligent building management. 🌍 Enlit Europe 2024 has officially come to a close! 🎙️ During #DEDALUS_EU panel "Multi-value and energy carrier-agnostic residential Demand Response" part of today's workshop co-organised by some of the European #SmartClusterEnergy projects, our coordinator Diego Arnone from Engineering Group SPA talked about the role of our project and enhanced #demandresponse in building a cleaner, more sustainable Europe. An important takeaway came from the joint panel session, during which Dedalus, together with its sister project DigiBUILD Project, highlighted how engagement activities on #residents' part are essential to gather feedback and drive meaningful contributions in initiatives such as our project, which ultimately aims to benefit end-users.

Feeling really blessed to represent DSS Lab, EPU-NTUA and many of our ongoing projects at #ENLIT2024 including DEDALUS EU, DigiBUILD Project, CRETE VALLEY, HEDGE-IoT, InEExS LIFE, ENERGATE Project, i-STENTORE, META BUILD Horizon Europe Project, ENPOWER, ENERSHARE , FORTESIE EU Project, SRI-ENACT. Some of the highlights: 🔸 An excellent panel to discuss the ETIP SNET paper on Energy communities' impact on grids (https://lnkd.in/eCt-6Kek) together with Mugur George PAUNESCU (European Commission), Beatrice Profeta (PwC), Helena Gerard (EnergyVille), Olivier Genest (Trialog), Nuno de Souza e Silva (REN), Natalie Samovich (AIOTI) and Ilaria Losa (Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico - RSE SpA). 🔸 A nice discussion with Birgitte Bak-Jensen (Aalborg University) on Energy Islands where I presented the CRETE VALLEY Project aiming to create the first Renewable Energy Valley in Europe. 🔸 A shared panel together with Diego Arnone (Engineering Group) upon the invitation from the #SmartEnergyCluster on the issue of "Unlocking the Power of Smart Energy: A New Era in Efficiency, Flexibility and Innovation" where we jointly presented outcomes from DigiBUILD Project and DEDALUS EU. 🔸 An interesting panel about Storage Technologies where I represented i-STENTORE together with ThumbsUp, HYSTORE PROJECT EU and AIR4NRG project having the opportunity to share the floor with Gianluca Lipari, Maria Laura Trifiletti, Emilia Pisani and Marco Rocchetti. 🔸 An encounter with our sister project REFORMERS Energy Valleys - Horizon Europe and Thierry Coosemans.
