In our recent 3rd #SRIENACT webinar, Stamatia Rizou introduced the SRI-ENACT #Assessment Tool (developed by SingularLogic), and Apostolos Arsenopoulos presented the Decision-Support Tool (developed by DSS Lab, EPU-NTUA). The SRI-ENACT Toolkit simplifies the calculation of the #SRI, offering access to results and statistics tailored to various user roles while automatically generating comprehensive SRI assessment reports 📃 . 🏡 Municipal Tax Exemptions for Energy-Poor Households in Athens The #SmartReadinessIndicator offers a powerful framework to boost #energyefficiency and reduce costs 💰 by assessing and enhancing the technological capabilities of #buildings. However, the persistent challenge of #EnergyPoverty remains a significant barrier to its widespread adoption. In #Greece, 🇬🇷 18.7% of the population struggles to keep their homes adequately warm 🔥, with limited access to affordable energy services like #heating, #cooling ❄️, and #lighting 💡. This stark reality highlights the social dimensions that hinder the full potential of #SRI adoption. Our #SRIENACT partners from DSS Lab, EPU-NTUA had the pleasure of discussing this aspect with the Mayor of Athens, Haris Doukas, on the grounds of the Mayor’s launching of a groundbreaking initiative: Municipal Tax Exemptions for energy-poor households.
