Our latest research paper, "Utilizing Extended Digital Twin to Enable Interactive Business Intelligence Services in Prefabricated Building Components Manufacturing Facilities," has been published in the IISA Conference 2024 (IEEE). DigiBUILD explores the potential of Digital Twin (DT) technology to support a more sustainable and efficient built environment. I am proud to share that this December I completed my industrial PhD in Energy with a thesis titled "Digital Twins of Smart Energy Systems: Models and Optimization Algorithms". This has been a great opportunity to work on innovative research topics and collaborate with brilliant colleagues. I want to thank everyone from the Università degli studi di Palermo, CNR ITAE, Engineering Group, and the DigiBUILD Project for their collaboration on this journey. I am excited to put into practice what I have learned so far, contributing to future research in this field and beyond!
