About us
The PAYCE Foundation was founded in 2016 to build on the long philanthropic tradition of leading property developer PAYCE. The PAYCE Foundation aims to become a best practice example of engaged and strategic philanthropy. We establish long term partnerships with a range of charities and community organisations addressing the causes and effect of social disadvantage and misfortune to ensure these are not determinants of anyone’s quality of life. We work with charities to identify what works and support organisations both financially and through hands-on capacity building initiatives. We promote innovation and help develop sustainable projects and organisations. We have identified five interconnected areas on which we focus our efforts: 1. Addiction 2. Domestic and family violence 3. Mental health and disability 4. Children, youth and families 5. Homelessness and social isolation

Over 200 people came together today at St Patrick’s Cathedral for the #ParramattaStreetFeast, an inspiring event now in its fourth year, focused on bringing the community together in support of those facing homelessness and hardship. This year's Street Feast was the largest to date, with over a dozen local partners and volunteers across Western Sydney. The event featured a communal feast, live music, and a powerful sense of solidarity, with Bishop of Parramatta, Bishop Vincent Long OFM Conv joining the Sydney Street Choir for an impromptu performance. "As we gather here today, we are reminded that we are only as strong as our weakest link," said Bishop Vincent Long. “The Street Feast is a reminder to us that only by working together for justice, for humanity, that we can obtain lasting peace and the triumph of human dignity.” Volunteers included students from Catherine McAuley Westmead, Cerdon College, and Parramatta Marist High School, who contributed to the day's success. Local charities like Vinnies NSW, The Salvation Army Australia, and Catholic Care Western Sydney & the Blue Mountains also played a vital role, providing support, food, clothing, and valuable resources to those in need. This event is a testament to the power of community action. It is proof that together, we can make a real difference in addressing the challenges of homelessness, housing affordability, and social disadvantage in our community. We’re grateful to all the partners, volunteers, and attendees who made this day possible! 🙏 PAYCE Foundation, Paynter Dixon, St Merkorious Charity, Catholic Care Western Sydney & the Blue Mountains, Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese, St Vincent de Paul Society NSW, The Salvation Army Australia, Thread Together, Sydney Street Choir, Cerdon College Merrylands, Catherine McAuley Westmead, Parramatta Marist High School, Jesuit Refugee Service, House Of Welcome, Community Migrant Resource Centre, Parramatta Mission, Tamil Community Toongabbie, and Fire and Rescue NSW (072 Station Merrylands). 📷 Alphonsus Fok/Diocese of Parramatta. #ParramattaStreetFeast #StreetFeast2024 #CommunitySpirit #TogetherForChange #HumanDignity #WesternSydney #CommunityAction #Homelessness
