🎨🌱 Rain or Shine, Team Plenary Brings the Magic! 🌟 A massive shoutout to the awesome crew from Plenary Group who rolled up their sleeves for a day of painting and gardening at Haven House Sylvania! Whether it was under the sunshine or a sprinkle of rain, your hard work is transforming this space into a warm and welcoming home for young people in out-of-home care. 💪🌤️🌧️ Caretakers Cottage Inc. runs this amazing three-level residence, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people aged 12 to 17 (most being 16–17). Haven House Inner West has undergone a remarkable makeover, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the National Association of Women in Construction and McCormack. This 7-bedroom center, operated by Detour House Inc & The Girls Refuge, provides crucial crisis accommodation for girls aged 12-17 who are facing trauma or instability at home. Recognizing the urgent need for improvement, the Property Industry Foundation and its industry supporters have come together to transform the property. The renovations include a brand new bathroom, laundry, crisis bedroom, youth worker overnight room, and enhanced privacy in the bedrooms.
