Gen Z thrives in outdoor campus spaces that blend productivity with relaxation. Our client's "work hard, play hard" philosophy inspired the creation of a vibrant, wellness-oriented campus. People can engage in a variety of activities, such as golf and theater festivals, surrounded by lush terraces. Cycling to work, conducting meetings in the garden, and holding outdoor team scrums enhance both fitness and teamwork. Town halls, set against the backdrop of Bengaluru's pleasant weather, provide a unique and engaging environment. The addition of adopted trees has brought new life to our campus, with Bagmane's expert horticulture team and vendors ensuring their successful relocation. We chose plants carefully to prevent allergies and enhance the campus's aesthetic, complementing the champagne-colored facade and adding an element of sophistication. The biophilic landscape supports a thriving ecosystem of butterflies and birds. Bagmane Developers Pvt.Ltd. Dr. Bharat Damani shared insights on the Eisenhower Matrix during a workshop. Dr. Bharat leads the FLAME University Entrepreneurship Department. Deeproots Design team learned to use the Eisenhower Matrix both at work and in personal life to manage time effectively. The matrix, named after President Dwight D. Eisenhower, boosts productivity and efficiency by helping us prioritise tasks by urgency and importance. The matrix has four quadrants. The first holds tasks that are urgent and important. These need our immediate attention, like addressing client needs or meeting project deadlines. The second quadrant holds tasks that are important but not urgent. These contribute to long-term success, like planning new designs or researching materials. The third quadrant is for tasks that are urgent but not important. These can distract us from significant work, like non-essential emails. Delegating or postponing these tasks frees up time for more impactful work. The fourth quadrant includes tasks that are neither urgent nor important. Eliminating these tasks lets us focus on what matters most. The workshop showed how the Eisenhower Matrix improves project outcomes. Participants shared how focusing on important tasks led to better solutions and client satisfaction. Eliminating unnecessary tasks boosted their productivity. Effective time management is key. By using the Eisenhower Matrix, we balance our work and focus on what truly matters. This leads to greater efficiency, innovation, and satisfaction. #architecture #management #productivity #innovation #design

Incorporating elements of Mother Nature into design is not about aesthetics but about providing a healing environment that promotes mental clarity and emotional balance for both people and the planet. National Wellness Institute defines wellness as a state of functioning optimally within the current environment. It sheds light on the conscious process of optimizing lifestyle with mental, physical and emotional stability. Here’s why designs for well-being are supported by landscape architects globally: - Active Lifestyle: High energy levels - Connect: The quality of your social relationships improves - Mindfulness: Reduces stress and anxiety symptoms because you become more mindful - Learning: Many aspirations modify in the right environment. - Give: You start giving more as designs for well-being keep your energies full. Deeproots Design is shaping experiences that contributes to the overall wellness of individuals and communities. Our landscape designs have the power to heal, inspire, and nurture. Poes Garden project epitomised classic, timeless luxury, where we ensured that services and pipes remained out of sight. It marked our first use of a double-wall system for planters on the terrace, cleverly concealing water and MEP pipes. We view this as a time capsule, from the commencement of work to the handover, and how it has aged over five years. It's aging well, and it's gratifying to see the community maintaining it diligently. As biophilic designers, we always aim for easy maintenance, considering how spaces will be used and the patterns of their users. Poes Garden is an upscale residential area in Teynampet, Chennai. It's a high-security zone home to celebrities, industrialists, and lawyers. Baashyaam Constructions #india #realestate #design #architecture #nature

Our love for nature knows no bounds. The Club Mahindra Group Managed Resort in Coorg, Karnataka, is embraced by lush local flora and a serene water pond. Spanning 23 acres, it's surrounded by Coorg's iconic coffee and tea plantations. Our design ethos prioritised preserving the site's coffee plantation and local character. Native planting and indigenous species, along with local laterite stone, earned us a Preliminary Leed gold certificate. The resort's terrain gently descends towards a river situated amidst Coorg's renowned coffee plantations and dense forests. All driveways are on even levels for easy access for all guests. Explore nature trails and jungle walks beside meandering streams. Eco-friendly transport options like E-rickshaws and golf carts are available, promoting cycling. Despite the challenges of accessing the site via bumpy, narrow roads, our team preserved the natural vegetation. Our design aims to create memorable experiences for visitors while honouring the site's natural beauty. Special thanks to Team STUP, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, and the GREENPIECE LANDSCAPES INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED Team for their dedication.
