Glad to share with Mothership the joys and benefits of eating freshly & naturally farmed local produce from EDIBLE GARDEN CITY . They taste fresh, are crunchy and remain nutrient-dense ( often lost when they are shipped from overseas ). Support local , support your health !

Happy Deepavali! 🪔
The vibrant marigolds used in garland decorations are said to bring good luck and prosperity.
Fun fact - the fragrant petals of marigolds can be used as garnish too. Just be sure that they are carefully sourced from an edible variety, happy feasting!

Let’s spend some time with nature today.
Extensive research has shown that spending time with nature has positive effects on mental health.
Gardening in particular has been found to be helpful in regulating our bodies and minds.
Tasks such as pulling weeds give us a rush of serotonin - kind of like removing a blackhead!
While plucking away, watch as little critters scurry atop soil beds, going about their little buggy activities. Seeds that we sow start to germinate and grow. Our efforts reap rewards and they nourish our little plant friends. Maybe we feel a little more whole again.

Grateful to the ASEAN Japan Center for featuring me! It was a great opportunity to share insights on re-imagining food security for Singapore using the 'Landscape Nutrition Index' approach. I believe our city-state can become a leader in innovative, sustainable food solutions by integrating efforts from government, institutions, and the community. Together, we can create a systems-based approach to tackle food sustainability challenges.
