Raising the quality of education advice. #AoEA #EducateAdvise
About us
Our vision is to: Create a cohesive, consistent and quality support system for all schools and colleges Our formal launch will take place on 6th July 2018. We will be established as a not for profit company limited by guarantee, clearly emphasising the professional independence of the organisation. The Governing Board include Dame Kathy August, Felicity Capey OBE, James Ramsbotham, Mark Sanders OBE, Michele Sutton CBE, and Les Walton CBE. Raise the quality of education advice for schools and colleges - a national quality standard for education advisers - a training and development programme which covers all aspects of school support including: advisory skills, performance improvement, governance, change management, organisational development and quality management - a national network and knowledge exchange for education advisers - a 'market place' where commissioners can source education advisers and where education advisers can offer their expertise. We are well on the way to achieving our vision: - We have now trialled, developed and delivered a national standard for education advisers - Our training and development programmes have been praised by the participants. Whilst we have designed the programmes to support the accreditation process, many school leaders have found the programmes valuable in themselves - Our first National Summit for Education Advisers is taking place in York on 6th July 2018. The event is already oversubscribed, which demonstrates a clear need for establishing a national network - We intend to launch the 'market place' in September 2018

To every educator finishing their first full week post-holidays, a big high-five to you! You might not wear a cape, but you change lives every single day. In every smile you share, every moment you listen, and every time you believe in a child who's struggling to believe in themselves - you're being an everyday hero. Remember: those mini humans looking up at you don't just see a teacher, TA, or kitchen staff. They see someone who makes them feel safe, heard, and capable of amazing things. Your morning cuppa might not give you superpowers, but your patience, kindness, and determination to show up for your students? That's pure magic. ✨ What small win are you most looking forward to celebrating with your class this term? 👇 #TeacherHeroes #BackToSchool #Education #TeacherLife
