We're recruiting to train up the next generation of bioprocessing talent, so if you know anyone who's looking for an entry-level role, feel free to share this post with them! The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about applying their education in a STEM subject, and will be trained to run bioreactors from 1L to 200L, in batch and perfusion modes. 👑 It was a great honour for Extracellular to welcome the UK Minister of Science, Lord Patrick Vallance and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to our facilities at Science Creates last week 👑 During the visit we discussed all things cell-cultured products, including the recent formation of the Regulatory Innovation Office, which helps speed up public access to emerging technologies such as cell-cultured bio-products, as well as discussed the new funding for the regulatory sandbox for cultivated meat It's great to see the Labour Party (UK) and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology championing new, innovative technologies and easing the regulatory burden on our industry

🎉 We're now ISO 22000 Certified!! 🎉 👷♀️ We've been working hard behind the scenes at Extracellular to implement world-class, internationally recognised quality standards within our facilities and operations, adding to the ISO 9001 we achieved earlier this year 👷♀️ 🏆 This a huge milestone for us to be able to produce safe, high-quality and nutritious alternative food products for our customers 🏆 🏭 It aligns perfectly with the commencement of production operations from our pilot-scale facility, meaning we'll be able to produce bio-produced food for a range of development and commercial purposes globally - reach out if you're in need! 🏭 And of course, a big kudos to all the Quality & Operations team at Extracellular, led by Jamie Thompson, for all the hard-work over the months

🇬🇧 UK continuing to pave the way in Europe in the cell-cultivated products space...🇬🇧 🍫 Fantastic news today with the Food Standards Agency announcing £1.6m in funding towards cell-cultivated products and the development of a regulatory sandbox 🍫 ⚡ This development is a hugely positive step in developing a quicker, safer and cheaper approach to regulating cell-cultured, while bringing the industry and regulators closer together ⚡ 🚀 It also continues to show that the UK will be a great launchpad for both local and international cell-cultured companies (with Extracellular here to help 👍 ) 🚀 Great work from The Good Food Institute Europe and Alternative Proteins Association in working with the FSA on shaping this approach! https://lnkd.in/defccCTy
