Waking up on the morning of our event ‘In Sex, Education Matters’ to The Times coverage of the MakeLoveNotPorn Academy campaign. Our survey of 1,014 U.K. parents of under 18s found: 🔴 One in three parents regret not speaking sooner to their children about sex and pornography. 🔴 43% of parents wouldn’t feel confident about having open and honest conversations about pornography and its potential harms. 🔴 85% of adults report never learning about consent in their sex education. It’s high time for a radical new approach to sex education and Cindy Gallop and her incredible team at MakeLoveNotPorn have the network and product to make it happen. But without urgent crowdfunding from people who give a 💩 about making the world sexually safer everyone, it won’t. We know how difficult it is to raise investment as a female founder.
