Match-funded Advanced Materials and Manufacturing PhD opportunities for your business 💡 ⚙️ We are pleased to announce that The Manchester Metropolitan University will be offering a series of match-funded PhD studentships as part of our Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMMIC). Funded by the newly established Greater Manchester Combined Authority Investment Zone, AMMIC is aimed at developing business-university innovation focused on advanced manufacturing and sustainable materials development, to build expertise and capability that will deliver benefit to the Greater Manchester region. This includes additive manufacturing, surface engineering, metamaterials and materials for ‘green’ energy. Companies will be required to contribute 60% of the direct project costs.
