Opergy Net Zero is delighted to be working on the Decarbonising Local Industrial Clusters project with the Greater South East Net Zero Hub. This report has mapped industrial clusters across the Greater South East region and highlights the scale of the opportunity for local industrial decarbonisation. The final few pages of the report also offer a hint of what's to come over the remainder of the project and the software tool we are developing for trial and release in 2025. Please do check out the report, get in touch and watch this space for exciting developments next year. Thanks go to the brilliant team working on this project: Peter Gudde, Steve Baggs, Kirsten Firth, Sarah Niddrie-Webb, Sam Reade, Connor Enright, Christopher Ayres, Ella Craggs, Amelia Fuller, Leo Hone, Chris Blincoe, Johnathan Reynolds, Andy Holyland 👏 #industrialdecarbonisation #industrialclusters #netzero #localindustrialclusters
There are more than 500 industrial clusters in the Greater South East... Could we help your local authority decarbonise them? A study by Opergy Net Zero, commissioned by the Hub, identified hundreds of sites which could reduce emissions through collaboration with their local businesses. The study builds on findings from recent projects we've supported which highlighted the benefits of businesses coming together to plan and utilise shared technology or infrastructure.
