🌟 Celebrating the Success of Our Reciprocal Coaching project with Circl 🌟 We’re thrilled to share the incredible outcomes of our Reciprocal Coaching Project that Stonewater colleagues undertook with Circl.! 🎉 It was great working with Erin Capener and Sarah Weiler and the wider Circl® team. This initiative brought together colleagues from across Stonewater and young future leaders creating a unique space for mutual learning, personal growth, and collaboration. Unlike traditional coaching, reciprocal coaching emphasises a two-way exchange—both participants act as coach and coachee, sharing their expertise, experiences, and perspectives. The impact has been inspiring: ✅ Enhanced skills in communication, problem-solving, and self-awareness. ✅ Stronger professional connections and team collaboration. ✅ Fresh insights and innovative approaches to shared challenges. ✅ Empowering individuals to feel more confident and supported in their roles. A huge thank you to everyone who participated—you’ve demonstrated the power of learning from one another and the importance of building a culture of growth and inclusion. Well done to Carolyn Allin CMIOSH MCIPD BA(Hons), Cherelle Dovey, Danny T. Donna Walker, Jason Unsworth, Kam Shergill Assoc. CIPD, Louise Tully, Toqeer Humayun, Natasha Bedford, Nick Bunn, Rasila Mistry and Kathy Jilali. This project highlights that great ideas, solutions, and personal breakthroughs happen when we actively listen, share, and support each other. It’s more than just coaching; it’s about creating a workplace where every voice matters and every team member thrives. Here’s to continued success, collaboration, and learning! 🚀 #CoachingCulture #ReciprocalCoaching #ProfessionalDevelopment #TeamGrowth #Collaboration #DiscoverStonewater

  • From the Bristol Channel to the North Sea! You may have seen our leadership on your TV screens and heard them on your airwaves over the last week. Our Chief Officer, Customer Experience & Growth, Jonathan Layzell, and our CEO, Nicholas Harris, appeared on BBC News Somerset and South East respectively. Jonathan discussed the need for more affordable homes across Somerset and in rural areas across the country from our 24-home scheme in Martock, Somerset. Nicholas spoke with the BBC from our 68-home development in Ringmer, East Sussex, about some of the challenges behind securing land and obtaining planning permission within the context of the government’s 1.5m homebuilding target. It’s great to see homebuilding so high up the government agenda – it will take a huge collaborative effort between government and industry to meet the ambitious target. Stonewater is delivering new communities across the country while looking after our residents. Challenges and opportunities in housing "[Housing] organisations have been in communities for past 50, 100 years... The decisions that we take now and in the next year or 5 years is going to establish the homes and the communities in which people are going to be living in 50 years time. How are we going to be the good ancestors that we need to be?" - Andrew van Doorn OBE, HACT offers a thought-provoking perspective on the latest episode of #OntheAir. As Stonewater celebrates its 10th anniversary, the housing sector stands at a pivotal moment, facing significant challenges but also unique opportunities to innovate and grow. In Episode 3 we bring together leading voices to discuss what lies ahead for housing associations over the next decade and; Andrew also explores how collaboration and innovation can help address pressing challenges such as homelessness, poverty, and decarbonisation, while unlocking opportunities for sector-wide growth. Sheila Collins, Chair of Stonewater Board, reflects on how Stonewater has navigated challenges such as the pandemic while staying committed to building homes and supporting communities. Jonathan Layzell shares insights into how strategic mergers with Mount Green Housing Association and Greenoak have enhanced Stonewater’s resilience, local service delivery, and overall impact. Sharon Thandi provides an expert legal lens on the regulatory landscape and how housing associations can adapt governance structures to meet the new consumer standards while keeping residents at the heart of every decision. This milestone episode highlights how collaboration, innovation, and bold action will shape the future of housing, building on a decade of Stonewater’s impact and leadership. Partnership news! We’ve entered into contract with the Edenstone Group to complete our 90-home affordable development at Madley Road, in Herefordshire.   Edenstone has already been appointed to complete an additional nearby scheme for 120 affordable homes at our College Road site, in Hereford, after the original contractors at both schemes fell into administration. We look forward to welcoming customers into their new homes as soon as possible where they'll enjoy warm and energy efficient homes, plenty of green space, including a revived orchard, a space for shrub planting, a wildflower meadow and a natural play area.    Read the full article on our website: https://lnkd.in/exVrFiUw #socialhousing #ukhousing
