With over 17 years of experience leading sustainability and ESG initiatives across sectors like aviation, masterplanning, sports, and leisure, George brings a wealth of expertise and a strategic approach to every project. “My role is working closely with our Sustainability Team and new ESG offering to create and deliver strategic solutions for our clients,” George shared. By collaborating with our sustainability engineers and leveraging the ESG model, George aims to ensure seamless project delivery. WWe spent two days with our Level 3 Academy this week - 22 of our mid to senior level Engineers and Sustainability Consultants. Our focus at Academy is to develop our staff at a business level, prioritising broader growth over technical knowledge, which we address through regular CPD sessions. Instead, we curate a comprehensive program featuring external industry insights and opportunities to build soft skills, complemented by internal presentations from our ESG & Sustainability and Marketing teams. Our team were given an understanding of what is required from the perspective of: 🟠 Client-side - An insider knowledge session with HFD Property Group's Managing Director, Stephen Lewis 🟠 Building Control - Impact of regulations from Jennifer Barrett at Assent BC 🟠 Structural - Insight into the need for quality of product in the structural world from MJ O'Shaughnessy, Alasdair MacPhee & Gerard Carson at Will Rudd A massive thank you to our guest speakers for their invaluable contributions over the past two days.
