We had a wonderful stay. The location is simply perfect, in the middle of the mountains, allowing you to enjoy the most beautiful landscapes of the area without having to be surrounded by the hustle and bustle. For this reason, it is the perfect place to discover the karst landscape of the area and to relax to the maximum during a perfect holiday in nature. Actually having walked all over the area, I can say that, in my opinion, the most beautiful karstic landscapes are close to the hotel and not on the river. At the same time, it is separated from the Li River sites by a pleasant walk. I recommend walking down to the river on foot, because the views are unique. The room is very comfortable and clean and the view from the terrace is breathtaking, impossible to describe in words. It is a unique place for hiking, as it is very close to 大面山, a mountain with stunning views and with few people. The owner of the hotel recommended several activities and helped us to do them by giving us directions and booking us transport. Moreover, the place is very suitable for birdwatchers, with at least 40 species relatively easy to spot. But the highlight, for me, is the food. The 啤酒鱼 (beer fish) is the best dish I have tasted throughout this trip in China. In fact, one of the days of our stay we changed our plans just so we could be at the hotel for lunch! The same goes for breakfast - don't miss it if you stay here! I have been visiting China for 10 years and this accommodation has been, without a doubt, the best one I have stayed in and the one I have treasured the most unforgettable memories in. We don't know what itinerary we will do next year on our China trip, but we are 100% sure that next year we will come back to stay more days. We have just left and can't wait to go back!

The child likes it. The room we booked is not in the building of Sky Realm. It is alone next to the dining bar in Wangjiang Building, facing the Lijiang River. There is a motorcycle downstairs. The hotel rents a battery car for 30 yuan. It is convenient to ride a bicycle to make a bamboo raft. Opposite the hotel is Zheng Jie's costume modeling and Lijiang shooting location, it is very convenient to change clothes back and forth for modeling and taking pictures. I had a great time at this hostel. The people were so friendly and they were always available on WeChat to help me out (thank you for helping me buy the bus tickets at such a late notice 🤭). Nearby were also many great restaurants（I recommend the nearby 阿秀米粉店 😋). I also greatly appreciated the curtains attached to the beds for some privacy. It's conveniently located next to the train station, but you will need to take a bus or a train to see some beautiful nature, as it is located in the middle of the city of Guilin.

Great little hostel, clean, cosy and social. In the perfect location right next to Guilin Central Square. It was a little difficult to find/ get in to the apartment! Just go up the steps to the second floor (see photos) and message the WeChat number on the door. If you don’t have wechat, there is also a bell you can ring. You can just ask at the nearby restaurant if you can’t find the steps. The owner also helped me book a great trip to the Li river which I highly recommend.

If you want a chill, laidback place to stay in an amazing location with the most generous and helpful host in Yangshuo book this hotel! Location: The hotel is nestled in the small village of 石板桥 5-10 ebike from the centre of Yangshuo, i think it has more stunning views than the hotels in yangshuo and the rooms have panoramic views of the surrounding karsts. You can rent ebikes from the hotel from 20/30rmb. Rooms: The rooms and modern and clean, and have amazing views. They have a big bath and a shower with good water pressure. The beds were very comfy, the towels and water were replaced every day. There are added touches to the room to make it feel warm and cosy. Host: The best part of this hotel for us was the host, his help and care really made our holiday. He organised cars to and from guilin, he prepared breakfast for us each morning asking us if there was anything specific we wanted and even taking us out for rice noodles one morning. He gave us many recommendations for activities in the area and organised them for us, he even came rock climbing with us and hiking to Laozhai mountain and took many photos of us with this DSLR. He ebiked to the location of the bamboo raft with us so we would know exactly where to go. On our second last night he made a fire pit for us in the garden of the hotel so we could roast marshmallows. I really think our holiday would have been half as good without his efforts! I really cannot say enough good words about this hotel, really recommend it to anyone going to Yangshuo and hope to go back myself in the future.

Room hygiene is definitely not as good as chain hotels, but the attitude at the front desk is very good Back to Nanning that night, the suitcase had to be opened for inspection. After a long queue, the luggage was particularly heavy. It was already two or three in the morning at the hotel. The landlord was very good. I was delayed until 2:00 the next day to check out . There is also a puppy sleeping at the front desk, super cute It’s absolutely no problem to make do for one night. The bedding in the room is also very soft and comfortable, and the area is large. There are two small suggestions. One person smokes in the room, and the smell of tobacco in the room is more unpleasant. It is recommended to clean up the ashtray carefully; the other is to prepare a bottle or two bottles of hotel** mineral water. It is really dry to the upstairs but there is no water to drink. The mood is really not very good.

Oh my goodness! Where do I begin? Yangshuo itself is so beautiful and amazing, we absolutely loved our three days there and would go back in a heartbeat. Our room was fantastic for the price, I would give it seven stars if I could. We had the Deluxe Family Suite with River (and mountain) Views and Balcony on the top floor, incredible location right at the bottom (river) end of West Street. Despite the vibrant activity on the street, our room was perfectly peaceful and quiet. The beds were hard by western standard but very comfortable. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful, going out of their way to walk with us to show us various places, giving us restaurant recommendations (Wang Jiang Lou) and booking tickets for the Impressions show and a day trip to Ruyi Feng Scenic Cableway - both of these events absolutely blew our tiny little New Zealand minds! The staff were also a great help when one of us lost our cellphone (thankfully recovered - Chinese people are so honest, friendly, helpful and kind). One thing for travellers to note, there is no elevator and so we only give 4/5 for facilities. We also give 4/5 for cleanliness only because it was a bit dusty behind some of the furniture, otherwise everything was perfectly clean. I was droppy off by my tour bus in Yangshuo downtown so I booked a Didi to the hostel for only 9 kuai. Take note that the hostel is not along a major street. From the pinned location, cross to the other side and walk straight. There is an old building bearing the name Lao Ban Cheng but that is not the one. Head forward and you'll find the neon sign. The check-in was fast and I was given to a bunk bed room for two people but I was the only one in the room. There is a private toilet and bathroom and they have a water heater and hair dryer. The location is only near West Street for good food and shopping. I found a restaurant that offers RMB 68 for a set meal of beer fish, veggies, and stir fried chicken (I think). I don't eat rice so I devoured everything on my own. The Yangshuo Railway Station is about 50 minutes away from the hostel. You can take a bus from West Street to Downtown Yangshuo for RMB 2 and then bus to the railway station for RMB 22. But I was lazy so I just booked Didi and left the hostel at 8:30. I paid RMB 68. IT was a good decision as I still saw more karst mountains. The hostel offers basic breakfast of bread and hot drinks but I was not up to it. But this is a big plus for a budget accommodation. I would book this hostel again if I find myself in Yangshuo again.
