The International Journal of Management Reviews (IJMR) seeks contributions for a special issue titled “Tear Down This Wall!” This issue calls for breaking down disciplinary silos to advance sustainability research in business. It aims to foster intra-, inter-, and transdisciplinary perspectives, encouraging innovative frameworks and connections across subfields such as sustainability accounting, sustainable finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, and human resource management. The issue welcomes literature reviews that bridge theoretical gaps, integrate diverse methodologies, and link academic insights with real-world applications. Led by guest editors Daniel Reimsbach, Nicole Darnall, Effie Kesidou, Constantinos N. Leonidou, Marianna Marra, and myself, this issue highlights the critical need to address challenges collaboratively. A range of review methodologies, from systematic reviews to meta-analyses, is invited, with a focus on theoretical contributions that enhance sustainability discourse. As the year draws to a close, we urge scholars to seize this opportunity to contribute impactful review articles. The submission window is January 1–31, 2025 via the journal submission system.
