Because of HFC's success there is a measurably stronger market for our farmers' hemp crops. Specifically, next year there will be more contracts available to grow hemp for grain. #sdhemp

South Dakota Industrial Hemp Association (SDIHA) members Derrick Dohmann with Horizon Hemp Seeds, Johnathan Peterson of Dakota Hemp, and Ken Meyer of Complete Hemp Processing are looking forward to the December 4th growers meeting in Huron, South Dakota with contracted hemp growers. The SDIHA is also grateful that Roger Gussiaas with Healthy Oilseeds, LLC (Flaxseed, Hempseed and Borage Seed) will be giving South Dakota's hemp farmers in attendance an update on hemp seed contracts available for the 2025 grow season. #sdhemp

Ken serves as President of the SDIHA. He is a Co-Founder of Complete Hemp Processing in Winfred, South Dakota. South Dakota Industrial Hemp Association (sd-hemp.com) board members Ken Meyer of Complete Hemp Processing and Johnathan Peterson of Dakota Hemp enjoyed lecturing today on hemp law and farming at the invitation of Professor Tyler S. Moore, Associate Professor of the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law. These Ag Law students had great questions. It was fun to answer their questions and to get in their hands hemp stalks, hemp hurd, hemp fiber, hemp plastics, hemp paper, hemp clothes, hempcrete, hemp wood, hemp seeds, hemp pasta, and hemp hearts. The hemp stalk fly swatters--as always--were also a big hit. #sdhemp
