Unveiling “The Last Verse” of a beloved classic 🎵✨ The Walt Disney Company is celebrating 60 years of the iconic “it’s a small world” song with the release of short film titled, “The Last Verse” by adam&eveDDB. The commemorative film pays tribute to the lasting impact of the Sherman Brothers, Richard and Robert, and unveils a brand-new verse written by the late Richard in 2023 as his final gift to the studio that he so deeply cherished. The Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger said, “As the legendary creators of some of the most cherished music of the past century, the Sherman brothers will be remembered for their profound impact on our global culture. Hearing Richard Sherman recite the final verse to “it’s a small world” before he died will be a moment I will carry with me forever. Meet Waylon - a big dog making a big difference 🐶 Did you know that over 59% of American dogs are overweight or obese? Most dog parents don’t realise this, making it one of the most pressing issues in pet health. So this Thanksgiving, adam&eveDDB London partnered with Mars - IAMS for ‘Waylon’, a huge parade balloon based on a real overweight dog. Waylon’s balloon was so big it got stuck between two buildings near the Thanksgiving parade route, showing that too much weight can get in a dog’s way. The balloon was visible in Chicago’s Loop neighbourhood on Sunday, stopping passersby in their tracks and prompting them to confront this serious issue affecting dogs' health. Meanwhile IAMS have been helping the real Waylon back to a healthy weight. Onlookers were encouraged to learn more about Waylon’s healthy weight journey – with support from the IAMS Healthy Weight Hub, focusing on exercise, portion control and changing his diet to IAMS Adult Healthy Weight Dry Dog Food. In fact, our furry friend Waylon has already lost almost 3 pounds to date!
