Community partnerships matter. This holiday season, our team continued our tradition of supporting Carver Elementary students with food donations for winter break. We're proud to partner with bright young minds who represent the future of our community. Thank you to Carver teachers, staff, and LRWRA employees who consistently show up to make a difference.

🌟Around the Block: November Highlights🌟 As the CEO of Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority, my role extends far beyond the walls of my office. Here are a few highlights from my excursions in November. 1. WOMEN RUN: I had an engaging evening with Jane Kim during our Fireside Chat hosted by Wright Lindsey Jennings law firm. The event allowed me to discuss the vital roles of women in leadership and STEM careers 👩🔬👩🏾💼. It's inspiring to share experiences and insights on how we can continue to break barriers & support each other in these fields.🌟 2. CENTRAL ARKANAS HUMAN RESOURCE ASSOCIATION: I recently participated in a panel discussion on creating a healthy work culture, alongside LR Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. and the CEOs of Baptist Health and Ace Glass.🫱🏽🫲🏽 It was enlightening to share & hear different perspectives and strategies on how to cultivate a respectful & supportive work environment. 3. ViPS READING DAY: Spending a class period reading to students is always a beautiful start to the day📚. I had an amazing time reading to students at Carver STEAM Elementary School one of our Partners In Education with the Little Rock School District. It was heartwarming to see their excitement as they engaged with the story.✨ 4. SAMPLING FIELD DAY: Recently, I spent the morning with members of our Sampling Department. We visited local industries where I observed them collecting samples for testing back at the water reclamation facility.🏭 It was fascinating to see the meticulous steps involved in this important part in the water reclamation process.💧🔬 Remember, collective efforts create ripples of positive impact. Until the next Around the Block update.🌎 #CEO #Leadership #CommunityEngagement #WaterProfessionals
