We are excited to introduce Ride Clean Mass—a first-of-its-kind program designed to make electric vehicles (EVs) accessible for Vehicle-for-Hire (VFH) drivers! At yesterday’s launch event, VFH drivers test-drove EVs and learned about the environmental and cost-saving benefits of going electric. 🚗⚡️ How does Ride Clean Mass work? The program offers: VFH-Own: Rebates up to $6,500 toward buying a new EV or $2,500 for a used EV. VFH-Rent: $100/week for EV rentals, up to four weeks. Drivers can also layer these rebates with other incentives, including Massachusetts' MOR-EV Program and the Federal EV Tax Credit, which means savings of $10,000 or more for eligible drivers! We’re grateful to our partners at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), Department of Public Utilities, MassDevelopment, CALSTART, Green Energy Consumers Alliance, and the Edwin C. Gentzler Translation Center for helping us build a cleaner transportation future for everyone in Massachusetts. And special thanks to Rep. Jeffrey Roy for stopping by to share a few words about his EV experience. There’s more to come—MassCEC will soon launch a $7.2 million EV charging station hub program to make EV charging easier for all drivers! 🔋 Learn more about Ride Clean Mass here: https://lnkd.in/ekztUVb4 #RideCleanMass #CleanTransportation #ElectricVehicles
