Yesterday, we proudly celebrated the achievement of commercial operation for our first-ever solar project -- the 209 MWdc Markum Solar Farm in Bosque and McLennan Counties, Texas -- with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside our wonderful partners. We even invited a few of the many hundred sheep that will be grazing our project to sustainably manage the vegetation. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a reality. We are excited to announce that Michael Rucker, CEO and Founder of Scout, and Connor Teskey from Brookfield Asset Management, have been recognized in Tamarindo's Energy Transition Power List for 2024. This list honors 100 individuals making the greatest impact on the energy transition through their work in wind, solar, storage, and power-to-x projects. This recognition reflects the great work of everyone on our team as we work to build a cleaner energy grid. Scout is proud to announce our power purchase agreement with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). The SFPUC will purchase electricity from our under-construction Gonzaga Ridge wind and battery storage project in Merced County, CA to support their community choice energy program, CleanPowerSF, which serves 385,000 customers in San Francisco. The agreement makes the 147.5 MW Gonzaga Ridge wind facility CleanPowerSF’s largest-ever single source of wind energy. Read more: https://lnkd.in/g7ERRvZ9

This week, Scout sponsored and sent 8 representatives to the Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) Leadership Forum in Washington D.C. We are proud to continue to support WRISE as they work to create a strong, diverse industry and cultivate leadership in the space. Thank you for hosting us at another wonderful event.

This week, Scouts from across the nation came together for the Fall edition of our semi-annual All Hands Meeting here in Boulder. All Hands Meetings are a time to focus on the future and how Scout is building for the long term. At 175 employees and counting, the focus on culture, connectivity, and collaboration was stronger than ever this week. We kicked off the festivities with our annual Scout Volunteer Day on Tuesday, where Scouts had the option to participate in a service day at one of five fantastic local organizations: Growing Gardens, EcoCycle, Boulder Civic Area, East Boulder Community Center, and Meals on Wheels, all while getting to know their colleagues and strengthening bonds within their teams. Then, throughout the week, we heard from team members across our many departments as they shared their knowledge and successes with the company as a whole, wrapping up each night with company-wide events. We would like to give a special thank you to our Markum Solar Farm landowners, Sara Brazelton and Jennifer Barefoot, for joining us at our team dinner last night!
